We concluded our season with a very nice banquet at Cobblestone in Caledonia. We celebrated all of the good from our season and handed out a few awards as well.

Right before Christmas the team participated in an Adopt-a-Family project coordinated through the Davenport Student-Athletic Advisory Council. We had a family of 4 (mom and 3 kids) and purchased items to give them a Christmas that they wouldn't otherwise be able to afford. Krista made us homemade pizza and then we had our Secret Sis gift exchange. The theme this year was Ugly Sweaters . . . the girls did not disappoint. Ashley won best dressed! The team also got their team gift, which was a DU scarf and a quote book with all of the quotes from our daily practice plans.
What wonderful blessings we had all throughout 2011. We are excited to start preparing for the 2012 season . . . so much to look forward to!
